Wilshire Vista Tudor Patio, Los Angeles

At this Tudor home in the Wilshire Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, a side courtyard and the front entry are paved in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo hexagon tile in a custom color blend with a Vintage finish. Slate blue, charcoal, rose, rust and sandy peach hexagons are mixed across the patio, so no two areas look quite alike. The worn, mottled faces of the tile sit comfortably against cream stucco walls, dark window trim and a shingle roof. Under the arched front porch, the same blend runs up to the door and finishes at a step edged in larger gray pieces. The result has the feel of an old garden terrace that has weathered in place.
