Westwood Entryway, Los Angeles

At this Westwood home in Los Angeles, a white stucco archway opens onto an entry paved in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo Arabesque Pattern 5A in Red Flash. The lantern shapes fill the porch floor in shades from brick red to deep plum, each tile slightly different, and wide light grout lines trace the curves. A border of square tile in the same red tones frames the pattern and carries up the steps toward the dark plank front door. Seen through the iron gate, the warm red floor stands out against the bright white walls and black lanterns, giving the small entry a Spanish Colonial character.
