Westchester Mediterranean Home, Los Angeles

This Mediterranean-style home in the Westchester area of Los Angeles uses tile to mark both its entry and its back patio. The front porch and steps are paved in ExaGres 12x12 porcelain in a warm terracotta tone with bullnose treads. The stair risers are lined with hand-painted deco tile in a colorful star and petal pattern, and matching deco pieces are set on point into the porch floor and on the stucco wall by the carved wood door. Out back, a patio around a square fire pit is laid in ARTO's handcrafted Studio Arabesque Pattern 2C, with stars in Persian Blue and crosses in Ash, framed by a terracotta border and a tiled bench.
