Waverly, a restaurant in Cardiff, California, is floored in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo 8" Hexagon tile in Hacienda and Hacienda Flash with a limestone texture. The two colors are blended across the room, so the floor moves between pale sand and warm, rosy terracotta from tile to tile. The hexagons run under the brass bar stools and long bar, between upholstered chairs and marble-topped tables, and up to a carved wood door framed by patterned wallpaper. The limestone texture gives each tile a soft, slightly worn surface that sits easily beside the bird-print wall panels, rattan pendants and green ceramics, giving the space a sunny, coastal warmth.
