The Story
Vidorra's dining room in Rockwall, Texas sits under a retractable glass roof, and its floor is laid in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo 16" x 16" concrete tile in Spanish Cotto. The large squares are set on the diagonal, running from the long bar with its woven stools, past tall terracotta urns and planters, to tables lined with bright pink banquettes and a green living wall. The warm, earthy tone of the cotto shifts from orange to soft brown across each tile, which suits the string lights, wood beams and dense greenery overhead. In daylight the floor glows a little warmer, and in the evening it settles into the background of a relaxed, garden-like room.
