The Story
This kitchen pairs sage green cabinetry, marble counters and dark wood beams with a floor of handcrafted Artillo Hexagon tile in Tuscan Mustard, finished in a Limestone texture. The hexagons run the full length of the room, from the island to the arched pantry door and on toward the living area, where the tile meets wide wood planks. Laid with tight joints, the concrete shows deep, varied tones of rust, brown and amber, and the Limestone surface adds a subtle, weathered texture that reads like an old stone floor. A red runner along the cabinets and the white arches throughout keep the space warm and quiet, letting the tile carry the room.
