The Bungalow Kitchen, Long Beach

The Bungalow Kitchen in Long Beach uses ARTO's handcrafted Artillo concrete tile to give each room a warm, earthy base. In the main dining room and sunroom, Artillo 6" Hexagon in rich cotto tones runs beneath long communal tables, a river rock fireplace and lounge seating, its mottled terracotta, amber and brown surface catching the daylight from the harbor-facing windows. In the wood-paneled lounge and bar, larger Artillo 12x12 squares in Cotto Dark set a calmer grid under leather sofas and vintage rugs. A small panel of patterned 4x4 decorative tile fills a niche in a sculpted plaster wall, adding a graphic accent to the space.
