Terranea Resort, Rancho Palos Verdes

At Terranea Resort, ARTO's handcrafted Roman concrete pavers in Old California with a Limestone texture surround the spa pool on the bluffs above the Pacific. The mix of large rectangles and squares runs across the pool deck, under rows of loungers and umbrellas, along walkways bordered by lawn, into cabanas and fire-table seating areas, and down a set of steps. The warm sand, honey and pale cream tones shift from piece to piece, and the pitted limestone surface gives the deck the look of quarried stone that suits the resort's Mediterranean-style buildings and tile roofs. Near the restaurant, an earlier patio around a round fire pit is paved in ARTO's Hermosa Blend.
