Ryan Brown House

This home uses handcrafted ARTO concrete in two distinct ways. In the living room, a long fireplace wall is clad in 14x20 3D Wall Cladding in the Ring Fish pattern, cast in Early Gray. Its raised concentric rings catch the light from the tall windows and give the pale wall a sculpted, shifting surface. In the kitchen, Artillo 3x5 Diamond tile is set in Charcoal, Early Gray and Natural Gray to create a tumbling-block pattern that reads as stacked cubes. It runs behind the range and open steel shelves, and continues onto the wall of a built-in desk nook. The three grays pair with dark cabinetry, stainless steel and white-painted wood ceilings.
