Pinch, SoHo, New York

Pinch, a Chinese restaurant and wine bar in New York's SoHo, uses ARTO's 3D Buckle tile in Early Gray as the glowing backdrop for its bottle display. Each 6x6 tile has a raised, pillowed relief that catches the warm backlighting, turning a plain wall into a field of soft light and shadow. The same tile clads the supports beneath the bar, tying the room together under strings of red lanterns. Handcrafted in concrete, the Buckle pattern adds depth without competing with the room's color.
