Picket Sun Room

A long, bright sun room is floored in handcrafted Artillo Picket tile in Sonora Sunset with a travertine texture. The pointed, elongated tiles are laid in rows, and small dark diamonds fill the spaces where their tips meet, creating a pattern that runs the length of the room toward a wall of arched windows and tall white cabinets. The warm orange-terracotta tile has a lightly pitted travertine surface that catches the light from the windows. The floor sits on a raised platform finished with a rounded bullnose edge, set off by dark wood floors below. Dark ceiling beams, white walls and simple furniture keep the attention on the tile.
