Palos Verdes Hillside Entry

At this Palos Verdes home, ARTO's handcrafted Artillo Hexagon tile in the Artillo color carries one continuous floor from the courtyard into the house. Outside, the hexagons wrap around a small spa and run up to a stack-stone planter and a broad set of courtyard steps. The same tile continues through the glass entry door, across the foyer and up a short flight of tiled steps. Each tile has a softly uneven, hand-formed surface in shades of copper, rust and brown, and a glossy sealer deepens the color and catches the sunlight. Dark grout lines outline every hexagon, giving the floor a strong, earthy pattern indoors and out.
