Ocean View Villa Hardscape

Designed by Mark Scott Associates, the outdoor spaces of this hillside villa look out over the ocean and are finished in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo concrete tile in Hermosa Blend. Under the covered loggia, the tile runs beneath a long dining table and an outdoor kitchen with a stone-topped bar, its mix of terracotta, rust, gold and slate tones laid in a varied pattern that echoes the warm stucco and dark wood beams. The same tile carries out to a terrace with a fire table and along a narrow garden path under a vine-covered arbor. Beyond, a pool, spa, lawn and fire trough step down toward the coastline. The blended colors give the hardscape an aged, Old World feel that suits the villa's stone and tile roofs.
