Manhattan Beach White Brick Fireplace

In this bright Manhattan Beach living room, the fireplace is faced in ARTO's Standard 2x8 brick veneer, painted white. The thin bricks are laid in a running bond from the floor to just below the ceiling, wrapping the firebox and rising behind a wall-mounted screen. A coat of white paint lets the fireplace blend with the walls while the relief of each brick and its mortar joints still gives the surface a soft, hand-laid texture. A dark stone hearth and black firebox anchor the base, with stacked birch logs inside. Around it, a fiddle-leaf fig, a wood stool, a blue sofa and a woven rug keep the room relaxed and easy, with plenty of natural light from the windows on either side.
