The Story
In this Lockeland Springs backyard, ARTO's handcrafted Artillo concrete tile ties a garden studio, terraces and paths into one outdoor room. The patio and walkways are laid in the Artillo Octagon 10x10 set in Cotto Dark with a Vintage finish, and the tile's mottled range of rose, tan and smoky brown gives the floor a warm, time-worn look. Raised terraces are finished with 16x24 pool coping and wall caps, and 12-inch grooved stair treads lead up to the studio's orange doors and the main house. Gravel lounge areas, potted plants and a tall wood fence frame the tile, making the yard a comfortable place to sit and gather.
