At the Harbor View Inn, the front of the hotel's reception desk is faced in ARTO's handcrafted decorative ceramic tile, pattern SD2202. Rows of small repeating circles in soft gray and white form a lace-like panel, framed by a rich walnut surround and a pale stone top. Set below dark wood ceiling beams and glass pendant lights, the tiled desk is the first thing guests see when they come in, and its fine pattern reads as texture from across the room. Light wood-look floors, walnut cabinetry and an arched niche behind the desk keep the space warm and calm, letting the hand-glazed tile bring a quiet note of craft to the lobby.
