Encino Garden Residence

This white-painted home in Encino pairs soft gray pavers with textured brick across its front garden and backyard. Roman pavers in cool gray and slate tones run from the front entry and garden steps to a covered porch and an open patio beside an outdoor fireplace, their gently worn faces giving the floor an aged, stone-like look. In the backyard, Villagio brick in layered grays wraps a built-in bench around a fire pit, lines a garden path and backs an outdoor kitchen. Painted thin brick in white carries the same hand-shaped texture onto the exterior walls and into an outdoor shower. Together the pavers and brick give the gardens, seating areas and pool terrace a quiet, weathered character that sits easily among the greenery.
