Descanso Restaurant

Descanso Restaurant pairs two very different ARTO tiles. The dining room walls are clad in Antik Brick in Used Red, which climbs around tall arched windows and wraps the columns between them. The brick mixes deep red with chalky white, giving the bright room the feel of an old reclaimed warehouse. Behind the open grill counter, the wall on either side of the kitchen doors is set with handcrafted Studio Arabesque Pattern 2A in Turquoise, its blue-green glaze outlined by dark grout lines that trace the interlocking shapes. The same Turquoise tile fills the end of an arched hallway, drawing the eye down the passage. Together, the warm brick and the cool glaze give the restaurant a relaxed, colorful character.
