Cotto Dark Pool Deck

Large square Artillo concrete tiles in Cotto Dark pave this courtyard pool deck, wrapping the pool and raised spa and running out to a covered outdoor kitchen. The handcrafted squares carry the warm, uneven reds and browns of fired terracotta, with darker clouding across each piece so the deck never looks flat. Laid in a straight grid with fine joints, the tile sets off the cream stucco walls, clay roof and arched loggia of the home, and gives the fire pit and potted plants a solid, earthy ground to sit on. It is a simple layout that lets the color of the concrete lead.
