The Story
In the mountains of Breckenridge, this cabin's patio wraps the back of the house beneath a timber pergola and opens toward a meadow ringed with pines. The paving is ARTO's handcrafted Roman concrete pavers in Caqui with a Limestone texture, laid in a mix of rectangular sizes that gives the surface the look of old cut stone. The warm sandy tone sits naturally beside wood shingles, stacked stone planters and the rust-red timber posts. The pavers run from the outdoor bar and lounge chairs under the pergola, out past low stone walls and flowering garden beds, and toward a round stone feature on the lawn, making the patio feel like a natural part of the forest setting.
