Blvd Show House

Designed by Laura Umansky for the Blvd Show House, this home uses ARTO tile both inside and out. In the entry, Studio Conche tile in Black Diamond covers the floor, its glossy, fan-shaped pieces forming a scalloped pattern that reflects the light beneath a pale console and abstract art. Out back, a raised patio steps off the red brick house and is paved in handcrafted Artillo Picket tile in Charcoal. The long, pointed pickets lock together in a crisp, repeating pattern in deep gray, framed by a cream umbrella, stone obelisks and a lush planting bed along the lawn. Together the two floors set a dark, quiet tone that carries from the front door to the garden.
