This Atwater Village backyard is paved in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo concrete tile in the Josie Blend, a warm mix of terracotta, rose, plum and soft brown. Around the pool and spa, 12-inch Hexagon tiles cover the deck, the grill area and a lounge corner, then follow a narrow walkway along the deep red walls of the house. Each piece carries its own clouding, so the deck reads like aged clay rather than a single flat color. On the covered porch, 12-inch Octagon tile in the same blend is set with small decorative dots, making a sheltered spot for an egg chair. Blue and green pool tile and a patterned fountain wall add bright contrast to the earthy floor.
