Amarillo Loggia and Patio

Wrapped around a white stone home in Amarillo, this outdoor floor runs from a covered loggia, past an outdoor fireplace and arched walkway, into a walled courtyard and out to an open patio that curves along the lawn. The tile is ARTO's handcrafted San Felipe concrete tile in the 12x13 size, laid in a blend of 40% Mission Red, 40% Red Flash and 20% Desert. The mix gives the floor a warm, shifting range of brick reds, deep russets and lighter earthy tones, so no two areas read quite the same. Stairs and trims use an even split of Mission Red and Red Flash. Light grout lines trace the scalloped San Felipe shape, and the finished floor was sealed, giving it a soft sheen in the Texas sun.
