St. Lawrence of Brindisi Church

At St. Lawrence of Brindisi Church, ARTO's handcrafted concrete tile covers the nave and the steps up to the altar. The floor is Super Artillo 12" tile in Normandy Cream, laid in a straight grid down the center aisle and beneath the dark wood pews. Its mix of warm browns, rust and soft gray gives the large room an aged, rustic feel. At the sanctuary, 12" grooved stair treads in Normandy Cream Vintage edge each step, and the risers are set with Artillo Arabesque Pattern 11A in Creme Fraiche, whose interlocking cross shapes add detail at eye level as people approach the altar. Matching Artillo cove base finishes the walls, giving the floor a clean, continuous edge.
