Seacliff Restroom, Aptos

This beachside restroom in Aptos is clad in ARTO's handcrafted 7" Artillo Conche concrete tile in Portland Blend with a Standard texture. The scalloped tiles overlap like fish scales across the front and side walls, wrapping around the doors and framed by wood louvers and a deep timber roof. Portland Blend mixes charcoal, slate and pale gray tiles, so the walls read as a soft, shifting pattern that changes with the coastal light and the shade of the nearby cypress trees. The rounded shapes add a playful, seaside touch to a simple park building near the bluff, with the ocean just beyond.
