Playa House, San Clemente

Set on the bluffs above the beach in San Clemente, Playa House is wrapped in outdoor rooms paved with ARTO's handcrafted Artillo 4x12 concrete tile in Normandy Cream with a Vintage finish. Laid in herringbone, the tile forms a lounge facing the ocean, a dining terrace beside the house and a fire pit area with built-in seating, while strips of lawn break the paving into panels near the French doors. The tile's warm peach and sand tones and softly worn edges suit the white stucco and clay roof. At the outdoor kitchen, a framed backsplash of Artillo Arabesque Pattern 8C in Winslet sits behind the grill, its layered gray and tan surface adding pattern and texture to the clean white walls.
