Palos Verdes Porcelain Pool Deck

Behind this Palos Verdes home, a pool deck of Italian porcelain pavers in a soft cream tone ties the whole backyard together. The 12x24 pavers run around the pool, wrap the coping and continue out to a dining area, a lounge terrace and a sunken fire pit with built-in seating. Their gently mottled surface has the look of quarried limestone, with quiet shifts of beige and gray that sit easily beside the stacked stone walls and the white pergola. Along the water, bullnose coping gives the pool a clean edge, and the same pavers cap the low stone walls and the water feature. The light color keeps the deck bright and calm, letting the planting and the blue of the pool carry the color.
