Laguna Beach Spa

In this Laguna Beach garden, a backyard spa is anchored by a feature wall of ARTO's handcrafted Compton concrete tile. Each 12x12 tile carries a raised, faceted diamond relief, and laid side by side the tiles form rows of folded peaks and valleys in a soft sidewalk gray. A sheet of water spills from the center of the wall into the spa, and the changing light across the dimensional faces gives the surface depth from morning to evening. A pale stone cap and coping frame the wall and the water's edge, wood deck tiles meet the spa on one side, and silvery grasses, succulents and potted greenery soften the space around it.
