Hermosa Beach Terrace and Stairs

On this Hermosa Beach home, ARTO's handcrafted Artillo concrete tile in Tuscan Mustard carries the outdoor living space from the yard up to an ocean-view terrace. The terrace and covered porch are laid in 8x8 Artillo tile, its warm, earthy tones shifting from tile to tile and setting off the white stucco walls, glass railing and outdoor kitchen. A separate exterior stairway is finished with 12-inch Artillo stair treads and matching risers, their rounded front edges softening each step beside a black iron handrail. Because each piece is made by hand, the color moves gently across the surface, giving the floors and steps a relaxed, sun-worn look that suits the coastal setting.
