First Street Powder Room

In this small powder room, a single wall behind the vanity carries the whole design. It is covered floor to ceiling in ARTO's handcrafted Artillo 6" Hexagon concrete tile in Early Gray with a Limestone texture, a pale warm gray with a soft, pitted surface and light shading that changes from tile to tile. Fine grout lines trace the honeycomb pattern up past a wood-framed mirror to the ceiling, where two pendant lights wash the wall. Polished wall-mounted faucets, a dark veined stone counter and a white cabinet sit in front of the tile, and the close-up shows how the Limestone finish catches the light around the fixtures. The rest of the room stays white, so the textured wall becomes the quiet focal point.
